About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Global Director Logistics & Network Optimization to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Business Services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $130,000 – $180,000 annually
Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize global logistics network components
  • Lead network modeling and scenario analysis for cost and service balance
  • Optimize cost-to-serve across various dimensions in collaboration with Finance
  • Drive structural improvements like rationalization and mode shifts
  • Establish a global operating model with clear decision rights
  • Own 3PL governance and ensure continuous improvement
  • Act as business owner for logistics processes and drive data transparency

Qualifications
  • 12+ years in global logistics or supply chain leadership roles
  • APICS Certification required
  • Proven success in network design and optimization in global manufacturing
  • Strong financial acumen in budget and cost management
  • Experience managing 3PL logistics networks and performance governance
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred)
  • Track record of delivering structural improvements in cost and service
