About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Of Product Design to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $168,000 – $210,000 annually
Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a high-performing product design team
  • Set and uphold quality standards in design work
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on strategy and roadmaps
  • Provide insights on AI's impact on design practices
  • Oversee end-to-end design experience across products
  • Establish efficient processes for design execution
  • Contribute to strategic planning as a senior leader

Qualifications
  • 10+ years in product design, with 7+ years in leadership roles
  • Strategic mindset connecting design to business outcomes
  • Clear perspective on evolving design practices in AI
  • Deep experience in designing enterprise software with a focus on professional workflows
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating taste in interaction and visual design
  • Track record of collaboration with Product and Engineering leaders
  • Excellent communication skills for rallying teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Empathy as a manager, fostering trust and giving feedback
