About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Market Research & Customer Insights to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $180,000 – $200,000 annually
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage market research initiatives to gather insights on customer needs and market trends
  • Design and execute both quantitative and qualitative research projects using a variety of techniques
  • Craft narratives around data insights and communicate key points clearly to stakeholders
  • Maintain vendor relationships and streamline insight-gathering processes for healthcare stakeholders
  • Monitor competitive landscape and distill insights on traditional and emerging competitors
  • Analyze data to identify key opportunities for product and service improvements
  • Develop and optimize a comprehensive Voice of the Customer plan that prioritizes customer input in decision-making

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in market research, customer insights, or analytics, specifically within the healthcare industry; diagnostics experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of successful Voice of Customer (VoC) program development and execution
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders
  • Experience with advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning is a plus
