About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Education to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $119,323 – $202,850 annually
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with state education agencies and clients
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored technical assistance
  • Monitor and adjust technical assistance delivery as required
  • Coordinate with project evaluators to curate evidence-based insights
  • Lead and coordinate technical assistance teams to ensure quality service

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in education, social sciences, public administration, or related subjects
  • 10+ years of experience in K-12 education policies, regulations, and systems
  • 10+ years of delivering technical assistance to state and district educators
  • 10+ years creating high quality technical assistance materials including briefs and presentations
  • 7+ years of proficiency with MS Office and standard office applications
  • 5+ years managing large-scale federal grants or contracts
  • 3+ years supervising teams with personnel management responsibilities
