About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a asset-intensive real estate and construction environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually
Responsibilities
  • Oversee distressed or delayed residential construction projects from takeover to completion
  • Monitor construction progress against schedules, budgets, and scope of work
  • Conduct site visits to assess project status, quality of work, and contractor performance
  • Identify project deficiencies and recommend corrective action plans
  • Manage project closeout activities and readiness for lease-up or sale
  • Oversee contractors and evaluate their performance for accountability and timely completion
  • Support loan workouts and develop recovery strategies for distressed projects

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant construction project management experience, preferably in residential or multifamily projects
  • Background as a Construction Project Manager or Construction Superintendent, with strong oversight experience
  • Experience handling distressed or incomplete projects and contractor transitions is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge across multifamily and luxury custom home construction is desirable
  • Deep understanding of construction processes including budgeting, scheduling, contractor oversight, and entitlements
  • Ability to assess contractor capability and determine realistic cost and time projections
  • Familiarity with project risk assessment in lending or asset management contexts is highly desirable
