About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director Operations & Supply Chain (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Aerospace & Defense environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $157,200 – $298,800 annually

Responsibilities
- Lead Supply Chain Operations for a $750M business focusing on assembly and sustainment
- Manage a team of Supply Chain Program Managers and professionals
- Develop OSC proposal activities ensuring compliance and team growth
- Create strategic sourcing and execution improvement plans for proposals
- Interface with customers to ensure program performance and service standards
- Coordinate OSC requirements for gate reviews and strategic execution
- Oversee Supplier Management process and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 12 years relevant experience or 10 years with advanced degree
- Leadership and management experience in defense industry or US government programs
- Strong program management and supply chain expertise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
