Energy Engineer

We are currently hiring Construction Managers to support electric utility construction in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs.

Salary Range: $60-$90/hr

**Responsibilities **

- Responsible for management of the construction of electric substations, substation upgrades, transmission lines and upgrades, generation upgrades and other projects to include civil and structural works, Protection and control installations and communications packages

- Determine contract resource requirements, service specifications and manage contractor performance

- Manage activities related to coordination of field inspection and sign offs for construction projects.

- Monitor and evaluate activities of outsourced Construction companies to ensure adherence to safety, quality, schedules and budgets, cost effectiveness and control, and results

**Responsibilities **

- Determine contract resource requirements, service specifications and manage contractor performance

- Manage activities related to coordination of field inspection and sign offs for construction projects.

- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in transmission line construction, with at least 2 years in energized work environments

- Understanding of live-line maintenance techniques (barehand, hot stick, rubber glove)

**Safety & Compliance Requirements **

- Strict adherence to energized work protocols, including minimum approach distances and PPE requirements

Geotechnical department is looking for a candidate to support our growing team in the New York southern tier area (not New York City). This employee may be an entry level up to an associate level. Salary is negotiable based on prior experience and may be a wider range than listed based on discussions with supervisor and division director.
