**Job Summary/Description**

KWQC has an immediate opening for a News Reporter/MMJ. The ideal

candidate will produce stories focusing on issues people are facing in

the Quad Cities. The candidate will cover breaking news & provide

important LIVE updates. You will enterprise stories by developing

sources throughout the market. Finding stories is also part of the job.

Reporters are expected to shoot, write, & edit stories on both broadcast

TV & digital platforms.

**Duties/Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To**

\- Work in a team environment & independently when shooting stories.\

-  Be curious & aware of news of the day, current events, & trends.\

-  Pitch multiple stories daily & include potential lead stories & other

enterprise ideas.\

-  Write stories for on-air.\

story on social media & CTV/streaming products.\
