Position Overview:
The Director of Operations is responsible for the daily operational management of the company, ensuring that business processes are efficient and seamless, optimizing resource allocation, and driving the achievement of the company's strategic objectives. This role requires extensive experience in cross-departmental coordination, process optimization, team management, and business execution. The Director of Operations reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or the Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop operational plans and execution strategies aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Participate in the company's annual budgeting and business planning processes, ensuring that operational goals are consistent with the overall corporate strategy.
Process & Efficiency Management
Optimize company business processes to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Establish and refine operational standards and workflows across various departments.
Team Management
Lead the operations team, set team goals, and conduct performance evaluations and talent development planning.
Foster a highly efficient and collaborative work environment, and drive cross-departmental collaboration.
Project Management
Oversee key operational projects, ensuring their timely and high-quality completion.
Coordinate resources to resolve issues and challenges encountered during operations.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze operational data to provide decision support and recommendations for improvement.
Periodically report operational performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Risk Management
Identify operational risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
Ensure that company operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher; a major in Business Administration, Management Science, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
20+ years of experience in corporate operations management, with at least 5 years of experience in managing teams.
Familiarity with corporate operational processes, project management methodologies, and performance management systems.
Excellent data analysis skills and strong business acumen.
Exceptional communication, coordination, and cross-departmental leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective stress management skills.
Bonus Qualifications:Experience in operations management within large enterprises or multinational corporations.
Familiarity with ERP systems and business management software.
