Job Title: Manager, Attorney Learning & Development – Custom Learning Design
Job Term: Full Time - Direct Hire
Location: Hybrid – New York, NY
Must Have the Following:
Attorney Development Experience, Learning & Development Leadership, Curriculum Design, Facilitation, Professional Skills Training, Stakeholder Management, Technology-Driven Learning Solutions, Data & KPI Reporting, Global Program Management, Adult Learning Principles
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of innovative learning and development programs for attorneys and business services professionals.
  • Create and implement technology-enabled and self-study learning solutions aligned with organizational learning goals.
  • Partner closely with attorneys and leadership teams to develop professional skills, leadership, and practice-specific training programs.
  • Facilitate workshops and learning sessions both virtually and in person across global offices.
  • Build scalable learning pathways focused on leadership, executive presence, feedback, delegation, and career development.
  • Analyze learning metrics, KPIs, and program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage learning platforms and webpages to ensure strong user experience and global accessibility.
  • Stay current on emerging learning technologies, instructional methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, People Strategy, Technology, Marketing, and Knowledge Management teams.
  • Support rollout, integration, and long-term adoption of new learning initiatives across the organization.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development within a professional services environment.
  • Strong experience creating and facilitating learning programs specifically for attorneys or legal professionals.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and professional development strategy.
  • Experience designing curriculum and leading both virtual and in-person training sessions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience using learning technologies and data analytics to measure program success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across global and multicultural teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or professional certifications preferred.
  • Law firm or legal industry experience strongly preferred.
