Job Description As a delivery-focused Senior Consultant within Korn Ferry’s Healthcare Consulting Practice , you will play a critical role in managing and delivering high-quality client work while helping healthcare organizations address complex workforce, leadership, and organizational challenges. Leveraging your subject matter expertise and consulting experience, you will lead defined aspects of complex engagements, structure and manage projects, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. Senior Consultants work closely with seasoned practitioners and sales colleagues to deliver custom solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. Individuals at this level exercise judgment in diagnosing client issues, tailoring solutions, and leading significant workstreams. While business development is not a primary accountability, there is an expectation that you will identify opportunities to extend or enhance client engagements and contribute to solution shaping discussions. This role also involves significant program and project management responsibility, including planning, execution, financial management, and coordination across global teams within the Healthcare Consulting Practice and broader Korn Ferry enterprise. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Client Delivery and Engagement Management
Contribute to or lead delivery teams, creating an atmosphere of trust, inclusion, and collaboration to ensure successful outcomes.
Manage large projects or significant workstreams within complex, multi-month programs, ensuring delivery meets expectations for quality, timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
Develop and manage project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, resources, deliverables, and success metrics.
Oversee and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, synthesize findings into actionable insights, and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
Build productive relationships with client and engagement team members, setting clear expectations and proactively seeking feedback.
Manage client expectations throughout the delivery process, balancing scope control with a commitment to client satisfaction.
Act as lead consultant or account manager for smaller engagements or workstreams, with direct interaction with client executives as appropriate.
Project Economics and Operational Discipline
Grow and manage knowledge of engagement economics, including scope, margin, and profitability.
Partner with internal Korn Ferry functions to resource delivery talent, manage contract-to-cash activities, track financial performance, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Apply operational discipline to all aspects of delivery and sales support using internal systems, tools, and reporting.
Business Development Support
Identify opportunities to expand or extend work within existing client accounts and raise these opportunities with senior colleagues.
Support solution design and development by contributing insights from research, analytics, and client work.
Participate in client planning and, where appropriate, lead portions of sales calls, presentations, and proposal development within areas of expertise.
Contribute to proposal writing, pitch preparation, opportunity shaping, and background research when time permits.
Collaboration and Knowledge Development
Work collaboratively with colleagues across teams, practices, and geographies.
Manage and guide peers and more junior consultants on projects, providing direction, coaching, and feedback.
Support less experienced consultants through mentoring and engagement-based development.
Proactively build internal relationships across the Korn Ferry enterprise, including other healthcare and functional experts.
Grow knowledge of Korn Ferry lines of business, solutions, and healthcare market trends.
Lead or contribute to internal research initiatives, thought leadership, solution innovation, or intellectual property development.
Account Team and People Leadership (where applicable)
Coach, mentor, and support delivery team members, helping troubleshoot issues and strengthen performance.
Contribute to performance management activities for direct reports, including goal setting, progress reviews, and development planning.
Build the talent pipeline by coaching and developing colleagues, identifying learning opportunities, and recognizing high potential talent.
Participate in talent management activities such as selection, performance reviews, and promotion discussions as appropriate.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Typically, 7+ years of relevant experience in a top-tier professional services or consulting firm and/or a relevant internal function.
Demonstrated depth of subject matter expertise with a strong record of delivering high-impact client solutions.
Experience managing complex projects or programs, including planning, execution, financial oversight, and stakeholder management.
Strong understanding of leadership, organizational, and workforce challenges faced by healthcare organizations, with the ability to engage senior leaders as a trusted advisor.
Proven consulting skills, including client relationship management, analytical rigor, commercial acumen, and business insight.
Ability to operate autonomously, making informed adjustments to standard offerings to meet unique client needs.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree required
Relevant advanced degree (Master’s, Doctorate, or equivalent) preferred
Salary Range $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary range represents the compensation Korn Ferry expects to pay to a candidate with the requirements for the job posted.
