This Opportunity The Director of Business Development will lead Komline’s go-to-market strategy for data center customers. The Director of Sales and Business Development would combine business development, strategic sales, and product ownership responsibilities to enable Komline to rapidly expand water and wastewater treatment solutions to hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center operators. Acting as both the commercial driver and Product Owner for our Data Center New Product Introduction (NPI), the Director of Sales and Business Development will have the autonomy to define offerings, build partnerships, and close transformational deals. Roles And Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the data center market segment
Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, and enterprise data center customers
Lead complex consultative sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
Achieve sales targets and establish Komline as a trusted partner in mission-critical water treatment and cooling solutions
Identify and pursue strategic accounts with high growth potential
Act as Product Owner for the Data Center NPI initiative, defining customer requirements and translating them into actionable product/service offerings
Conduct market research and continuously capture Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights to understand Data Center industry trends, customer pain points, competitive landscape, and buying behaviors
Develop value propositions and business cases that demonstrate Return of Investment (ROI) for data center operators
