KCL Manufacturing is seeking a highly organized and proactive Buyer Planner & Operations Coordinator to support production planning, inventory management, ERP coordination, purchasing support, and operational scheduling activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position also includes supporting embedded customer operational support programs involving inventory management, logistics coordination, and training kit readiness activities. We are looking for someone who can operate independently, communicate effectively, maintain urgency, and help drive operational continuity throughout the organization. Responsibilities
Issue and maintain manufacturing travelers, work orders, and production documentation
Coordinate daily production priorities and support manufacturing scheduling activities
Manage ERP transactions related to inventory, purchasing, production, and material movement
Monitor inventory levels and support material planning and replenishment activities
Coordinate supplier follow-up, purchasing support, and procurement tracking
Maintain inventory accuracy through reconciliation, cycle counting, and material control activities
Coordinate material staging and ensure production readiness for active builds
Support shortage management, escalation, and production recovery activities
Maintain BOM integrity and assist with revision and configuration control
Support customer operational programs including inventory organization, logistics coordination, consumable replenishment, and training kit support
Generate operational reports and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control, ERP workflows, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in manufacturing coordination, planning, purchasing, inventory control, or ERP administration
Experience working within ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and manufacturing documentation
Ability to work independently and maintain accountability with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience
Contract manufacturing or medical device manufacturing experience
Familiarity with BOM structures, work orders, routings, and traveler systems
Experience supporting production scheduling and operational coordination
Understanding of inventory reconciliation and shortage management
Exposure to ISO 13485 or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
