The Purchasing & Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the company's sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities for direct and indirect purchases for production, and resale items to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality procurement of materials, and goods. This role develops procurement strategies, negotiates contracts, manages supplier relationships, and collaborates cross‑functionally to support operational, financial, and supply chain objectives. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Procurement & Planning:
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals
Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supply risks to optimize sourcing decisions
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and alternative supplier/material introduction
Supplier Management:
Conduct contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing, terms, and service levels
Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers; manage ongoing supplier performance
Establish strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and top performance
Lead quarterly business reviews and supplier scorecard development
Purchasing Operations:
Manage end‑to‑end purchasing processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, and delivery follow‑up
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing data, and supplier documentation
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Quality teams to understand demand and forecast needs
Support new product introductions with inventory planning, timely material sourcing, and introducing new suppliers
Resolve issues related to pricing, delivery, or quality in collaboration with internal teams
Cost Management & Reporting:
Drive cost‑savings initiatives and track procurement KPIs
Manage, and monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and minimize excess and obsolete inventory
Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, supplier trends, and cost variances
Additional duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
Experience with ERP systems (Infor-LN knowledge is preferred) and procurement tools
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Understanding of contract management, sourcing methodologies, and supply chain principles
Experience working with international suppliers and knowledge of import operation is preferred
