Your impact
At Jacobs, we design and deliver some of the world’s most advanced high‑tech facilities—from mission‑critical data centers to semiconductor fabs and next‑generation manufacturing environments. To keep pace with this growth, we’re adding a Strategic Sourcer who specializes in finding the engineering talent that drives complex programs.
In this role, you’ll focus on identifying and engaging Electrical Engineers initially then expand to our other Engineering disciplines and highly specialized design engineers who excel in advanced facilities work. You’ll map competitive talent markets, uncover niche skill sets, and build long‑term pipelines that ensure Jacobs stays ahead of project demand. Your work blends research, technical fluency, and targeted outreach to connect with passive engineering talent that rarely responds to traditional recruiting.

Role Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strategic pipelines for highly specialized engineering and architectural roles across Jacobs
  • Conduct deep market research, competitor mapping, and talent intelligence to guide hiring strategy and workforce planning
  • Identify, engage, and nurture passive candidates through targeted outreach and long‑term relationship building
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and recruiters to refine role requirements and calibrate technical profiles
  • Analyze talent availability, compensation trends, and geographic hot spots to influence decision‑making
  • Leverage our Avature & LinkedIn CRM/ATS tools to track pipelines, engagement, and market insights with precision
  • Represent Jacobs within engineering communities, professional associations, and digital talent networks
  • Collaborate with TA leadership to design sourcing strategies for critical programs and future project demand

Here's what you'll need
  • 4–8 years of sourcing or recruiting experience within A/E, EPC, industrial, or other technical environments
  • Strong ability to identify and engage passive engineering talent using advanced sourcing and market‑mapping techniques
  • Solid understanding of engineering disciplines and technical workflows, with comfort navigating complex subject matter
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑influence skills, with the ability to advise hiring leaders using data and insights
  • Preferred candidates will have past experience in Semiconductor facility design firm

The base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
