The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats while ensuring the security and integrity of organizational systems, networks, and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems, networks, and endpoints for suspicious activities and vulnerabilities
- Analyze and respond to security incidents, threats, and breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security risk analysis
- Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Investigate phishing, malware, ransomware, and other cyber threats
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations
- Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen infrastructure security
- Prepare security reports, documentation, and incident response plans
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s OR Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or SOC environment.
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, VPN, SIEM, and threat detection
- Experience with tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, Wireshark, Nessus, Qualys, or Microsoft Defender
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
