The Opportunity As Senior Marketing Strategist, you will work directly alongside our Managing Director to shape and drive the marketing across a growing portfolio of events. From day one, this is a hands-on role. You will personally build, launch, and optimise campaigns, owning execution as well as strategy. At the same time, this role is designed to evolve into a leadership position, with the opportunity to hire, develop, and scale a team as the portfolio grows. End-to-end development and hands-on execution of portfolio and individual event marketing campaigns
Campaign ROI analysis and budget management
Database growth, demand generation, and lead generation strategy
Website updates, content creation, and copywriting (you’ll be writing and building, not just directing)
Social media strategy and channel/vendor partnerships
Weekly reporting on key marketing indicators with strategic recommendations
Cross-functional collaboration with production, sales, and customer service teams
Identification of new marketing opportunities and innovations with the Managing Director
Over time: building and leading a team, including hiring, training, and performance management
What You Bring
3–5 years of B2B conference marketing experience (essential)
A proven track record of delivering results through hands-on campaign execution
Experience either managing people or a strong desire to step into leadership
Strong copywriting and communication skills
Confidence working both strategically and in the detail
Solid budget and project management capability
A proactive, solutions-first mindset, you don’t wait for direction
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
