Responsibilities
- Serve as Cloud Security SME supporting enterprise cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Conduct cloud security architecture reviews and identify security risks or misconfigurations
- Design and implement secure cloud, IAM, and serverless architectures
- Create security design artifacts, infrastructure diagrams, and technical documentation
- Support cloud governance, compliance, exception management, and risk mitigation initiatives
- Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate security into cloud solutions and CI/CD processes
- Evaluate cloud security tools/vendors and recommend security improvements
- Mentor junior team members and stay current with evolving cloud threat landscapes
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and securing enterprise cloud environments
- Strong expertise in AWS, GCP, and Azure security architecture
- Experience with:
- IAM and least-privilege access controls
- Security architecture reviews
- Cloud networking (VPCs, VPNs, routing)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Ansible)
- Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless security
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, AWS WAF, and GCP Security Center
- Scripting/automation skills using Python, Node.js, Golang, Bash, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with Wiz, Splunk, Brinqa, Jira, Slack integrations, and GitHub Security
- Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Security Specialty
- GCP Professional Security Engineer
- CISSP or CompTIA Security+
