Primary Purpose Of The Organizational Unit: Enterprise Application Development and Delivery teams plan, integrate, and support IT services that are essential to University business functions. Our work includes planning and managing resources to deliver outcomes aligned with University strategic goals. The technical capabilities we support include platforms for digital workflows, ERP, digital engagement, and IT service management. Position Summary: The Business Analyst for Enrollment Management will lead day-to-day development of business and functional requirements for technical work, primarily supporting student success and enrollment management initiatives. This position will also help document and revise existing business processes so that they are efficient and utilize campus technologies effectively. The BA works with staff in functional areas in enrollment management and student success as well as architects, systems analysts, and developers to help qualify and shape work requests so that priority and effort are accurately evaluated and appropriate resources are scheduled for timely delivery of high quality IT solutions. The BA also assists clients in the testing and review of technical solutions delivered by platform teams. The BA works with a variety of software development lifecycle and project management approaches to help the University achieve strategic goals. Minimum Qualifications:
Mid-career with Masters and 1-2 yrs experience or Bachelors and 2-4 yrs experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP certification (or equivalent) strongly desired.
Experience with student modules in Ellucian Banner (or other SIS system) strongly desired.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications – especially Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
Experience working independently and in groups.
Familiarity with ServiceNow, Google Docs, Teams.

Consults with functional area staff recommending supported technology that can be applied to area business needs.

Contribute to development and maintenance of strategic roadmap representing functional area business needs.
