About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to support our Center of Excellence (COE) in Rochester, NY. This role will partner closely with HR teams across the U.S., providing critical coordination support to the business and it’s employees in the area of:  HRIS Systems administration; assisting employees with general concerns; supporting a portion of our payroll processing; assisting employees with entering/managing leaves.  This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone with previous HR coordinator, operations or specialist experience.
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems & Transactions
  • Support HR transactions within Workday (hires, changes, updates, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate employee records across systems
  • Assist with data entry, audits, and reporting

Payroll & Timekeeping Coordination
  • Support weekly payroll processing in partnership with the corporate payroll team
  • Process leave-related payments and special pay transactions
  • Review and reconcile employee timecards in Dimensions
  • Validate payroll data and review post-submission reports for accuracy
  • Track and manage payroll-related data using Excel

Employee Leave Coordination
  • Support employees seeking information about leave; aid employees with entering leaves of absence.  Provide administrative support for employees going out on or returning from leave
  • Assist with tracking and coordination of workers’ compensation cases

Administrative Tasks
  • Complete administrative tasks as assigned and as needed.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR coordinator or specialist supporting hourly and salaried employees; prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.in
  • Experience working with HRIS Systems (Workday) and timekeeping systems (e.g., Dimensions/Kronos) strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills (data tracking, reconciliation, reporting)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • A customer service mindset when dealing with employees and managers alike.
