SERVICENOW DEVELOPER W/ ACTIVE TOP SECRET OR DHS CLEARANCEJob Type: Hybrid Job Location: Ashburn, VA InDev is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and enhance ServiceNow applications and integrations that support Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission outcomes. You’ll work hands-on across ITSM and CRM modules, develop high-quality scripts and flows, integrate with enterprise systems, and collaborate within an Agile team to deliver secure solutions aligned with DHS standards and FedRAMP requirements. While technical skills are essential, a successful candidate will also bring innovative ideas, a sense of ownership, and an ability to anticipate the next question. YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and configure ITSM and/or CRM ServiceNow modules to meet mission requirements.
Build workflows, dashboards, and integrations with ServiceNow.
Write clean, maintainable JavaScript using the Glide API (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs).
Develop access controls for ServiceNow applications.
Design, create and extend data tables.
Define database views and GlideRecord queries.
Build Rest APIs to support data transfer to external systems (i.e., SharePoint, Power BI).
Share and apply Best Practices.
Participate in user story grooming and refinement; estimate and deliver within Scrum sprints.
Troubleshoot incidents/problems, perform defect resolution, and execute performance tuning.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and/or active DHS clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
5 + years of ServiceNow development experience.
Proven ability to design, configure, and implement complex ServiceNow modules, workflows, and business rules.
Understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, scripting, and integration methods (APIs, web services, MID servers).
Hands-on experience with JavaScript.
Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders.
