Epic Analyst Level 1 Reporting Structure This position will report directly to the Project Director. The Work Are you eager to start a long-term career in healthcare technology? No prior Epic experience needed. Just bring your drive, curiosity, and comfort learning new technology. Key Responsibilities will include:
Implement, configure, and maintain assigned Epic applications to support clinical and operational workflows
Perform comprehensive build and testing within the Epic environment, including new implementation build, post-go-live optimization, and break/fix updates
Collaborate closely with end-users to understand business needs, translate requirements into effective Epic Solutions, and ensure system functionality meets expectations
Troubleshoot issues, analyze system performance, and deliver timely resolutions to maintain application stability
This role is part of a structured five-year development program designed to take you from trainee to fully certified and experienced Epic Analyst
Upon completion, you will have the experience to continue:
With the hospital project, OR
Transition to new Epic clients as a consultant

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present data in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong comfort and aptitude for learning new technology systems
Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Ability to commit to a structured five-year development program
Willingness and ability to travel 1–2 times to Madison, WI for Epic certification
(Required to achieve certification within 8 weeks of training completion, with up to three exam attempts permitted.)
Ability to travel to Louisiana once per month for approximately the first 15 months
Ability to work 4 days per week onsite at the iMethods office; remaining days remote
Availability for limited on-call rotations during the post-live support phase
Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment
Required Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent professional experience (healthcare, military, or technology background preferred)
Commitment to passing Epic certification exams within the required three attempts
