POSITION OVERVIEW: The Vice President, Business Development will drive strategic growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities across key target markets. This executive role is responsible for expanding the company’s client portfolio, with a strong focus on enterprise-level engagements, and building long-term client relationships that support sustained revenue growth. This role has a strong preference for candidates with experience selling into Fintech, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), and/or Healthcare verticals. Applicants with demonstrated success in these industries will be prioritized. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with company growth objectives.
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across priority verticals, including Fintech, BFSI, and Healthcare.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through close.
Establish and nurture C-level client relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Solutions, Finance, etc.) to develop tailored, competitive proposals.
Lead RFP/RFI responses, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and sales quotas.
Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive positioning within target verticals.
Partner with marketing to align demand generation strategies with target industries.
Provide regular pipeline forecasts and sales reporting to executive leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within the BPO, CX, or outsourcing industry.
Proven track record of closing large, complex, multi-year deals with enterprise clients.
REQUIRED / STRONGLY PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated success selling into Fintech, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), and/or Healthcare verticals
Deep understanding of industry-specific challenges, compliance requirements, and CX expectations within these sectors
Established network and relationships within one or more of these verticals
Strong understanding of global delivery models and outsourcing solutions.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support client engagement and deal closure.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and related technology. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively and may be required to travel for client meetings and industry events. This is a full-time position. Travel requirements will vary based on business needs.
