MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electric (PE) systems, which are vital parts to produce Hyundai/Kia electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly. Our Environmental Health and Safety Department is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Ellabell, Georgia on 2nd Shift. In this role, you will assist with the implementation and support of EHS programs across the facility. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to help maintain compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with the implementation and monitoring of EHS programs, policies, and procedures
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and basic risk assessments under the guidance of senior EHS staff
Support incident reporting, documentation, and follow‑up activities
Help coordinate EHS training sessions, including onboarding and annual compliance training
Maintain accurate EHS records, logs, and regulatory documentation
Partner with production and maintenance teams to reinforce safe work practices and hazard awareness
Assist with environmental compliance tasks such as waste handling, recycling programs, and sustainability initiatives
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related internship/co‑op
Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and general safety practices
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environments
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Familiarity with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 standards
Experience supporting safety committees, emergency response, or training activities
Minimum Education/Certifications: High school diploma or GED required Shift : 1st Shift
