Principal Responsibilities
Qualifications
Preferred but not Essential
- Create/document test plans for complete and accurate testing and debugging of software.
- Perform quality assurance checks on program code.
- Perform on-going quality assurance testing, including pre-release testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Test and verify existing software products and interfaces to third party applications.
- Draft or review internal and end-user documentation, including design documents, help files, and release notes.
- Identify and track programming bugs; recommend, develop, and document workarounds for end-users.
- Create, review, and/or track assigned work items.
Qualifications
- BS, Computer Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Management Information Systems or AAS and five years software quality assurance experience
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Good oral and written communications
Preferred but not Essential
- Two years’ experience in quality assurance in software engineering applications using Microsoft® Windows-based application.
