Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with materials, scaffolding, and tool operations
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment
- Clean and prepare job sites, ensuring a safe work environment
- Operate or assist with construction equipment and power tools under supervision
- Mix and pour concrete, grout, or other materials as directed
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazardous conditions
- Work as part of a team, following supervisor instructions and contributing to project success
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience preferred, but not required
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, bending, standing, and kneeling for extended periods
- Basic understanding of construction techniques and safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites; active drivers license required
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
Work Environment
- Outdoor work in varied weather conditions
- Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by HC Company
