The Role
• Administer cloud database platforms.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform database performance tuning.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and manage ETL processes and data pipeline concepts.
• Ensure database security through user roles, permissions, and data protection practices.
• Contribute to developing policies and procedures for database integrity and security for mission-critical systems.
What You'll Need
• 3+ years of experience administering cloud database platforms.
• Proven experience in SQL, including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and troubleshooting database performance.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline concepts.
• Solid understanding of database security practices.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Ability to obtain a relevant IT certification within 30 days of hire.
