Role Description HarvestBeam is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician for a full-time hybrid role based in Grifton, NC. Some work-from-home flexibility is available. The Field Service Technician will oversee the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of broadband equipment at customer locations and network facilities. Responsibilities include diagnosing service issues, testing signal strength, configuring equipment, and educating customers on device usage. The technician will also assist with maintaining accurate records and upholding high customer service standards while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications
Proficiency in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband and network equipment, including familiarity with fiber optics and wireless systems
Understanding of standard tools, equipment, and technologies used for network diagnostics, signal testing, and testing meters
Strong problem-solving skills for resolving connectivity issues and analyzing technical challenges
Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients and team members
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for onsite installations and support
Basic computer skills for logging service requests, reporting tasks, and record management
Relevant certifications or technical training in telecommunications, networking, or a related field preferred
Familiarity with safety standards and protocols for field service work
