Digital Marketing Internship (Full-Time, Remote)
Ever wonder what it actually takes to grow a startup from zero to traction?
Not theory. Not shadowing. Not “grab coffee and sit in meetings.” This is real marketing portfolio building work alongside a company that gets results.
We’re GrowthExpertz (www.growthexpertz.com), a leading Silicon Valley startup marketing agency, and we’re looking for 1–3 high-performance digital marketing interns to help us launch and scale ZGuide (zguide.com) — a social app designed to help people make friends IRL, meet new people, and build a real social life offline.
This is not a passive internship. You’ll be working alongside our marketing manager and our CEO in the trenches with clients.

- This is a 3-month, full-time, unpaid internship
- You should NOT be working another job
- You should be obsessed with startups, marketing, and growth
- You should be comfortable working fully remote and independently
- You should be someone who can execute without hand-holding

What You’ll Work On (Real Execution)
You’ll be directly involved in launching and scaling our newest client ZGuide.com – Make Friends IRL, a social networking app focused on helping people:
- Make friends
- Meet new people
- Discover events near them
- Build a real-world social life
Your work will directly impact user growth.
You’ll execute across:
- Social Media Marketing
- Build and grow accounts across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Public Relations (PR)
- Pitch media, secure coverage, and drive awareness
- Paid Advertising
- Test and optimize campaigns across Meta, Google, and emerging platforms
- Content Marketing & SEO
- Write and publish keyword-driven content targeting terms like:
- make friends
- meet new people
- social networking
- events near me
- GEO & AI Search Optimization
- Optimize content for AI-driven discovery (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)
- Growth Experiments
- Test new channels, messaging, and acquisition strategies
- Analytics & Tracking
- Measure performance, iterate quickly, and double down on what works
- And more — if it drives growth, you’ll touch it
What You’ll Learn
You’ll work directly under our CEO Andrew Lee Miller (@andrewstartups) and learn:
- How real startup growth marketing works
- How to launch a product from zero
- How to test and scale acquisition channels
- How agencies operate with early-stage clients
- How to think like a growth operator, not just a marketer

Who You Are
You’re a strong fit if:
- You can commit full-time (25–40+ hours/week) for 3 months
- You’re deeply interested in startups + digital marketing
- You’re a self-starter / hustler / go-getter
- You execute fast and figure things out
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
- You communicate clearly in English
- You’re not afraid to test, fail, and try again
Bonus if you:
- Have experience with content, ads, or SEO
- Have built something on your own (project, brand, etc.)
