What You Will Be Doing At Globalstar As a Mission Analyst, you will perform daily orbit determination calculations and support orbit raising operations, for both old and new Low Earth Orbiting satellites. Several new satellites are scheduled for launch this and next year, and you will be part of the team supporting the establishment and maintenance of this constellation. Duties/Responsibilities
Orbit Determination & Analysis: Perform orbit determination, propagation, and analysis using mathematical models.
STK Utilization: Use AGI’s Systems Tool Kit (STK), including ODTK, to model, analyze, and simulate orbital trajectories.
Operational Support: Generate daily orbit data for satellite contacts, perform maneuver planning (orbit raising, station keeping), and support launch operations.
Anomaly Resolution: Provide 24/7 on-call support for troubleshooting and anomaly resolution.
Software Development: Support and develop scripts (Python, MATLAB, ) to automate orbital analysis tasks.
What You Will Bring To Globalstar
Bachelor's or higher in Aerospace, Physics or closely related field
5+ years of experience with satellite operations, orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, or spacecraft flight dynamics
5+ years of experience with general satellite knowledge that included components, mass properties, satellite attitude, propulsion systems
Expertise with Orbit Mechanics / Dynamics, Orbit determination, Ephemeris generation, and maneuver planning
Experience developing and maintaining STK and ODTK using Python
It’s a Bonus If You Have
Master's or higher in Aerospace, Physics or closely related field
10+ years of experience with satellite operations, orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, or spacecraft flight dynamics
