Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Assistant Editor, based in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, with some flexibility for remote work. The Assistant Editor will support the post-production process by organizing and managing video assets, assembling rough cuts, performing basic editing tasks, and ensuring that deadlines are met. The individual will collaborate with producers, editors, and creative teams to ensure a seamless workflow and high-quality output for all projects. Qualifications
Strong proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools) and an understanding of editing workflows
Ability to manage and organize video assets, perform basic color grading, and work with audio synchronization
Proficiency in identifying and resolving technical issues related to post-production
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with creative and production teams
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision
Familiarity with cinematic storytelling and branded content production is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field is preferred
Experience in motion graphics or animation is an advantage
