About the Role
Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President – Brand Messaging & Governance. This role is responsible for shaping and safeguarding Genpact’s brand identity through strategic messaging and governance. The AVP will lead the development of brand narratives and ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all internal and external touchpoints.
Responsibilities
  • Brand Governance & Standards:
  • Shape and contribute to the evolution of the company’s brand governance framework, including brand guidelines, voice and tone standards, visual identity rules, and usage policies.
  • Translate brand strategy into clear, practical guidance that teams can easily apply across channels and formats.
  • Ensure alignment with business priorities and audience.
  • Establish and oversee approval workflows and decision rights for brand and marketing materials.
  • Maintain and enforce brand governance processes, including brand guidelines, naming conventions, Tone of voice, alignment to Genpact messaging and visual identity standards.

  • Brand Initiatives:
  • Serve as custodian of Genpact Intelligence (A curated collection of insights inspired by our work with advanced technologies and enterprises around the world) – Creating and executing the strategy for curating the most impactful thought leadership and thought leaders across the company to help shift perception of the Genpact brand as leader in AI and advanced technologies.
  • Oversight of the brand awards: Qualification and promotion of the brand level awards for Genpact.

  • Cross Functional Enablement:
  • Partner with communications, GTM and campaign strategy teams to embed brand standards and messaging into campaigns, internal communications and employee engagement.
  • Act as trusted advisor to teams creating content, campaigns, product experiences and partnerships.
  • Balance consistency with flexibility, especially in fast-iterating AI, Agentic and product environments.

  • Quality Control & Risk Management:
  • Own key brand assets such as brand/company pages on .com, corporate deck.
  • Review and approve brand assets to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Ensure brand compliance across global and regional markets.
  • Partner with legal, privacy and compliance teams to mitigate brand risk.
  • Develop and deliver brand training and onboarding materials to ensure consistent understanding and application of brand principles.

  • Brand Health Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
  • Support measurement of brand consistency and perception across channels.
  • Define metrics to assess brand consistency, quality and adoption.
  • Gather feedback from internal teams to refine governance models.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven success in managing brand strategy, communications, or marketing.
  • Strong experience in brand governance and messaging development.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Experience in managing brand guidelines and training programs.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, including collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Pay range and compensation package
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$100,000 to $125,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
