What You Will Do
As the Director of Marketing, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated national and local marketing strategies and seasonal campaigns.
- Drive compelling and breakthrough brand creative with our internal team and agency partners.
- Optimize marketing investments and manage the National Ad Fund with a data-driven approach to ROI and ROAS.
- Coach franchise owners through group sessions and 1:1 support to improve local marketing performance and business growth.
- Lead and manage marketing team members to deliver best-in-class marketing support to our franchisees
- Oversee customized annual marketing plans aligned to each local market’s opportunity across channels, tactics, and the whole customer journey.
- Leverage analytics, CRM platforms, and performance data to evaluate effectiveness and guide strategic decisions.
- Develop onboarding and marketing ramp-up programs to help new franchisees reach break-even and accelerate sales.
- Lead marketing presentations for key events, including advisory council meetings, confirmation days, and new franchise owner training.
- Collaborate with franchise partners and internal teams to implement effective local marketing programs that drive awareness, leads, and sales.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technology to improve the GarageExperts customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- A strategic marketing leader with at least 7 years of experience driving performance in a franchise, multi-location, and/or home service-focused industry.
- Expert in brand storytelling and local performance marketing.
- A coach at heart who is energized by developing franchise owners and internal team members.
- Data-driven, tech-savvy, and fluent in CRM and marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; able to influence at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in platforms such as NetSuite, ServiceMinder, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools.
- Experienced in collaborating with agencies, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
- Creative, curious, and ready to bring fresh ideas that differentiate our brand.
