Grant Status:  This is a grant-funded, term-limited position supported by the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation through April 2028, contingent upon continued grant funding.

Position Summary: The Recruitment Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in expanding Futuro Health’s reach by building strong relationships with community organizations, workforce partners, and other stakeholders that support scholar recruitment. This position is responsible for identifying new outreach opportunities, initiating and nurturing partnerships, and coordinating activities that increase awareness of Futuro Health’s education and training programs. The Coordinator conducts proactive outreach, researches community events, and ensures partners are equipped with accurate and compelling recruitment materials. In addition, the role leverages data and CRM tools to track outreach efforts, analyze engagement trends, and support continuous improvement of recruitment strategies. Working collaboratively with internal teams, the Student Recruitment Outreach Coordinator ensures that all outreach activities align with organizational priorities and contribute to broader recruitment goals. This role is essential in supporting equitable access to career pathways by connecting diverse communities with Futuro Health’s training opportunities. This position is grant‑funded through the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation and is currently funded through April 2028. Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funding. While this is a remote role, the position is intended for candidates based in Florida’s Tri‑County area (Miami‑Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties) to support local community outreach and in‑person recruitment activities.
Essential Job Functions:
Scholar Recruitment Support
Identify and secure partnerships with organizations willing to help recruit Futuro Health scholars.
  • Research and evaluate potential partner organizations—including nonprofits, workforce boards, schools, employers, and community groups—to determine alignment with Futuro Health’s mission and target scholar populations.
  • Initiate contact and build strategic relationships to support recruitment pipelines, ensuring partners understand program benefits and engagement expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a partnership portfolio, documenting outreach, engagement levels, and partnership impact.

Make initial outreach via phone and email to introduce Futuro Health and provide recruiting materials for them to distribute.
  • Craft compelling outreach messages tailored to various audiences, conveying Futuro Health’s value proposition clearly and professionally.
  • Conduct introductory calls and send outreach emails to key contacts, providing digital or physical resources to support scholar recruitment.
  • Follow up consistently to nurture interest and encourage partners to actively share opportunities with their networks.

Schedule in-person meetings when appropriate to introduce Futuro Health and provide recruiting materials for them to distribute.
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings with community leaders, educators, career advisors, employers, and other stakeholders to build awareness and trust.
  • Present program offerings, scholarship pathways, and partnership opportunities in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Ensure all participants receive appropriate recruitment collateral and understand how to refer potential scholars.

Research community events in target regions and secure spots for Recruitment Specialists to have tables showcasing Futuro Health’s training opportunities.
  • Identify high-impact events such as job fairs, community festivals, college resource days, workforce summits, and health fairs.
  • Evaluate each event’s audience demographics and alignment with recruitment goals before securing participation.
  • Manage booth registration, logistics, and necessary materials to ensure successful representation by the Recruitment team.

Build relationships with community organizations to expand recruitment channels.
  • Establish a strong presence within local communities by attending networking events, coalition meetings, and community partner gatherings.
  • Foster long-term relationships by providing ongoing communication, updates, and recognition of partner contributions.
  • Identify new opportunities for collaboration and continuously strengthen the recruitment ecosystem.

Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and employer responses in CRM systems.
  • Log all interactions, meetings, follow-ups, and partner activities in the CRM in a timely and organized manner.
  • Update partner profiles, track engagement levels, and ensure all data is complete and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Use data to prioritize outreach efforts and support long-term partner relationship management.

Track and analyze recruitment campaigns through use of invitation codes; share insights and trends to improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Monitor invitation code performance to understand which partners, events, or channels generate the highest scholar interest and enrollments.
  • Create regular reports summarizing key metrics, insights, and recommendations for optimizing recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach tactics based on data trends.

Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with internal teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Recruitment, Workforce Partnerships, and Programs teams to ensure cohesive messaging and shared objectives.
  • Participate in planning meetings to inform outreach strategy based on program demand, scholar demographics, and priority regions.
  • Provide feedback from the field that informs organizational decision-making and future initiatives.

Provide regular updates on outreach progress and recruitment opportunities in alignment with identified needs.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly or monthly activity reports highlighting outreach volume, partner engagement, and recruitment leads.
  • Inform team members and leadership of emerging opportunities, potential partnerships, and high-value events.
  • Recommend strategic adjustments based on outreach performance and community trends.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or business development, preferably in healthcare or education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and adhering to documentation best practices.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, Internet access, and databases.


Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Workforce Development, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field. (or equivalent experience).
Supervisory Responsibility: This role does not have supervisory responsibility over other staff.
Work Environment/Travel: This is a hybrid position: 50% remote and 50% travel/ community based. The position is intended for candidates based in Florida’s Tri‑County area (Miami‑Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties) to support local community outreach and in‑person recruitment activities. Additionally, some travel will be required outside of the tri-county area. Travel will also be required to attend meetings and conferences.
Physical Demands: Able to sit, stand, and type for long periods of time. Ability to work irregular hours including after hours and weekends although this will be infrequent. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Position Type: This position is full-time, non-exempt. The hours may include weekends, nights and holidays.
