Futura is partnering with a leading AI infrastructure innovator that is building some of the worlds largest and most advanced AI data centers. They are actively hiring for Logistics Technicians to support deployment of their latest AI data centers.
About the Role
The Site Logistics and Asset Coordinator oversees the movement, tracking, and lifecycle management of equipment and materials supporting large-scale data infrastructure operations at a facility location. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient handling of incoming and outgoing materials, and supporting operational teams through coordination of logistics, asset control, and supplier interactions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Track equipment and materials from initial delivery through retirement or disposal, including applying identification labels and maintaining accurate records within inventory or asset management systems
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of hardware and supplies, confirm quantities received, inspect items for condition or damage, and update inventory systems promptly
  • Conduct routine inventory checks and audits to maintain high levels of accuracy; monitor stock availability and address potential shortages to support installation, maintenance, and deployment work
  • Process parts and equipment requests from technical staff efficiently; maintain well-organized storage and staging areas for active projects, maintenance tasks, and operational needs
  • Work with external suppliers to manage returns, warranty replacements, and repair requests; arrange facility access and oversight for visiting service providers and delivery teams
  • Prepare inventory summaries, performance metrics, and operational reports; document workflows and contribute to process optimization and efficiency improvements

Minimum Requirements
  • Strong experience working in high performance, high value and high volume logistics/asset role.
  • At least three years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain functions within a technical, industrial, or manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet tools, databases, or reporting systems used to analyze and manage inventory data

Desirable Experience
  • Background working in large-scale technology environments, data infrastructure facilities, or major colocation operations
  • Experience using inventory tracking platforms, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or asset management tools, with strong attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of technology hardware such as servers, networking equipment, and related infrastructure components
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and collaborate effectively across different teams
