Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid position located in New York, NY, for a Junior Development Manager. The role involves supporting fundraising initiatives, managing donor relationships, assisting in organizing events, and aiding in the preparation of proposals and reports. The Junior Development Manager will also coordinate outreach efforts, maintain donor databases, and collaborate with the Development team to achieve fundraising goals. Effective communication with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with FAR's mission will be critical to success in this role. Qualifications
Proficiency in fundraising and donor relationship management
Strong communication skills, including drafting proposals, outreach materials, and reports
Experience in event planning and coordination
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Proficiency in using CRM systems or donor management software is a plus
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as nonprofit management, communications, or business administration
Familiarity with the mission and programs of FAR or knowledge of the Armenian community and culture is advantageous but not required
