We’re looking for a Sales Manager who enjoys being out in the field, working alongside their team, and helping people get better at what they do. This role will spend the majority of time traveling across Michigan, supporting and developing a sales team while driving overall performance. This is a hands-on leadership position. You won’t be managing from a distance, you’ll be riding along on calls, coaching in real time, helping troubleshoot deals, and working with the team to build practical strategies that actually work. What you’ll be doing
Traveling throughout Michigan (about 70%) to work directly with your sales team
Coaching and developing reps through ride-alongs, feedback, and ongoing support
Helping the team build and execute sales strategies across their territories
Creating and maintaining simple, useful dashboards to track performance and trends
Working with leadership to forecast, plan, and adjust as needed
Supporting key opportunities and stepping in when extra guidance is needed
What we’re looking for
At least 3 years of experience managing a sales team
Someone who prefers being in the field versus behind a desk
Strong coach—able to give direct, helpful feedback and build trust with a team
Comfortable working with data, reporting, and CRM tools
Organized and able to manage multiple people and priorities across a large territory
Experience in material handling or a related industry is helpful, but not required
