An engineering consulting firm is seeking a Process Engineer to support projects within the consumer products manufacturing industry. This role involves process design, equipment specification, troubleshooting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on industrial manufacturing projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop process designs and engineering calculations
- Create and review PFDs, P&IDs, specifications, and design documents
- Support sizing/specification of pumps, vessels, heat exchangers, and control valves
- Troubleshoot process issues and recommend solutions
- Support plant startup, commissioning, and on-site project activities
- Work directly with clients and project teams
Qualifications
- B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with industrial/process design projects
- Consumer products or manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of fluid systems, instrumentation, and process equipment
- Experience with AutoCAD and Fathom preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Plant or startup experience is a plus
