POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Training & Operations Manager serves as a key leader responsible for developing, supporting, and retaining a highly engaged caregiver workforce. This role combines Human Resources leadership, employee training and development, workforce engagement, caregiver retention strategy, and operational coordination within a rapidly growing healthcare organization. This individual will play a direct role in:
Recruiting and onboarding exceptional caregivers
Leading new hire orientation and ongoing caregiver development
Strengthening employee engagement and retention
Supporting employee relations and workplace culture
Ensuring compliance with HR and regulatory requirements
Maintaining operational excellence across workforce processes
Helping caregivers feel supported, valued, and successful
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing people-focused leadership with operational execution and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Training, Onboarding & Workforce Development
Lead engaging and professional new hire orientation and onboarding programs for caregivers and staff
Facilitate training on ADLs/IADLs, Dementia Care, Infection Control, HIPAA, client service standards, company policies, and caregiver expectations
Coordinate ongoing education, skills development, and continuing education requirements
Identify performance gaps and implement coaching, retraining, and development initiatives
Support caregivers throughout their employment journey to encourage confidence, professionalism, and long-term success
Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement
Employee Relations & Caregiver Engagement
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, coaching conversations, and caregiver support
Build strong professional relationships with caregivers through proactive communication and engagement
Support employee retention initiatives and help create a positive, supportive workplace culture
Conduct coaching conversations, performance discussions, and corrective action processes professionally and compassionately
Assist in conflict resolution and employee issue management
Help caregivers feel connected, appreciated, and supported within the organization
HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain employee files and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Manage and maintain HRIS systems, employee records, onboarding documentation, and training records
Track certifications, licenses, TB renewals, continuing education, and compliance requirements
Maintain audit-ready employee documentation and assist with regulatory audits or reviews
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, company standards, and home care regulations
Recruitment & Hiring Support
Support caregiver recruiting initiatives and hiring efforts
Assist with applicant screening, interview coordination, onboarding preparation, and new hire processing
Collaborate with Scheduling and Leadership teams to ensure workforce needs are met proactively
Help ensure a seamless transition from applicant → onboarding → active employment
Operational Collaboration
Partner closely with Scheduling, Recruiting, Operations, and Leadership teams to support daily business objectives
Assist with workforce planning and operational process improvement initiatives
Help strengthen communication and collaboration across departments
Support a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, professionalism, urgency, and strong prioritization skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communication, Management, or related field preferred
3–7+ years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Training, Workforce Development, Healthcare Operations, or related leadership roles
Experience in healthcare, home care, staffing, recruiting, employee training, or workforce management strongly preferred
Strong understanding of employee relations, workforce engagement, and retention strategies
Experience working within HRIS systems and digital training platforms
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, influence, and support employees professionally
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced operational environment
Self-motivated, proactive, and highly dependable
