We’re Hiring: Head of Derivatives & Portfolio Manager – Multi-Asset ETFs
A leading investment management firm is seeking a senior investment professional to help build and lead a new suite of derivatives-based ETF strategies focused on income generation, risk management, and innovative portfolio solutions.
Location: Hybrid (New York preferred; Chicago or Boston also considered)
Compensation:Base Salary: $225K – $300K
Total Compensation Potential: $500K – $750K+
Key Responsibilities:• Design and manage derivatives-based ETF strategies including covered call, collar, and systematic overlay solutions
• Lead portfolio construction, hedging, risk budgeting, and derivatives implementation
• Partner with banks and internal teams to develop tax-efficient ETF structures
• Contribute to multi-asset investment ideas across equities, rates, credit, FX, and volatility
• Support product development, client engagement, and long-term business growth initiatives
Ideal Background:• 5–10 years of experience in derivatives portfolio management, trading, structuring, or ETF investing
• Deep expertise in options, risk management, and macro investing
• Strong understanding of ETF structures and tax-aware investment strategies
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale new investment products
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Series 7 & 63 licenses preferred
