About The Role

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to evaluate system integrity.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance organizational security posture.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate incident response efforts.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and manage security tools and technologies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training for staff.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
