About The Role

This position involves gathering detailed business requirements, conducting needs assessments, and developing functional specifications to ensure that information technology systems support organizational objectives effectively. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of three years of IT experience, preferably within healthcare or a related field, is required; alternatively, two years of IT experience coupled with two years of clinical experience is acceptable. The candidate must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of healthcare systems and possess strong project management skills. Proficiency in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook is essential, alongside excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The ability to create clear documentation and collaborate effectively across teams is critical. Self-direction and effective time management are vital attributes for this position. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree and relevant certifications, particularly in Epic or other healthcare applications. Licenses in Epic Reimbursement Contracts Administration or similar are mandatory for this role.

  • Manage application implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively through oral and written channels with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Handle moderately complex issues independently, escalating more complex problems to senior staff as needed.
  • Maintain and update system, operational, and departmental documentation regularly.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Provide on-call support for critical application issues outside regular working hours.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the overall objectives of the healthcare organization.
