About The Role
As the Human Resources Manager at Aramark, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR functions within Mesa Verde National Park, specifically overseeing HR generalist activities and housing support for park staff. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong operational skills to manage a broad spectrum of HR processes, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, and benefits administration. You will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and developing initiatives that promote employee engagement and organizational development. This is a seasonal, benefit-eligible role for a period of 10 months, offering an opportunity to contribute to a unique and scenic work environment while supporting a dedicated team of professionals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required; HR-specific software experience is a plus.
  • HR/SPHR certification is preferred, demonstrating advanced knowledge of HR practices and laws.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Experience conducting investigations, resolving employment disputes, and developing resolution strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with management at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data.
  • Ability to train, present, and facilitate meetings confidently and professionally.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including Fair Chance Ordinances and related legal requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Address employee issues through issue resolution processes, including hotline response, investigations, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including action plans, corporate events, and recognition programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts by coordinating recruitment activities, screening candidates, and facilitating onboarding programs.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics reports to identify trends, inform decision-making, and improve HR strategies.
  • Assist with benefits administration and payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation and benefits delivery.
  • Support onboarding initiatives to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to develop HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.
