About The Role
We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at FSA Federal. In this vital role, you will support the overall mission of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) by managing and analyzing critical data related to criminal investigations and operations. Your work will involve collecting, organizing, and interpreting information from various sources to facilitate informed decision-making and ensure compliance with legal and procedural standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to national security efforts and law enforcement initiatives through meticulous data management and analysis.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with an undergraduate degree preferred. A strong ability to understand organizational structures and functions is essential. Candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and possess excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in data entry, document management, and report preparation is required. Familiarity with database systems, spreadsheets, and word processing tools is highly desirable. The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to work independently as well as part of a team, is critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The Data Analyst will be responsible for receiving, gathering, analyzing, and organizing information from multiple sources. Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of received data is paramount, as well as reconciling any inconsistencies encountered. The role involves accurately entering data into various databases, documents, or spreadsheets, and establishing and maintaining physical files for easy retrieval and reference. Monitoring case file statuses to ensure all deadlines are met and coordinating requests for additional information from relevant sources are also key responsibilities.
The analyst will select pertinent information from diverse sources to prepare comprehensive documents, reports, summaries, and responses to inquiries, ensuring all information is accurate and formatted correctly. Performing word processing tasks related to cases and providing timely status updates are essential functions. Additionally, the role may include performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
