About The Role We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the RxSS Business Operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting critical data ingestion and secure file transfer processes that drive our platform’s functionality. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless flow of data between various systems, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and collaborate closely with engineering, product teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. This position offers a hands-on, problem-solving environment suited for individuals who enjoy understanding how systems operate, identifying root causes of issues, and partnering with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of our data pipelines, contributing to the overall success of our SaaS platform and client satisfaction. Qualifications Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or have equivalent relevant experience. A minimum of two years supporting systems, applications, or data processes is required. Familiarity with SQL for data validation and troubleshooting is essential. Experience supporting or monitoring data pipelines, integrations, or file-based data exchanges is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues, troubleshoot system behavior, and communicate findings clearly are necessary for success in this role. Responsibilities
Support and monitor data ingestion pipelines and integration workflows to ensure smooth operation and data accuracy.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data pipelines, file transfers, and application errors by analyzing logs and system behavior.
Manage secure inbound and outbound file transfers utilizing SFTP and managed file transfer (MFT) tools to ensure data security and integrity.
Perform basic data validation and troubleshooting using SQL queries to verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Review pipeline logs and system behaviors to determine whether issues are file-related, data-related, or system-related, and escalate as necessary.
Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement process improvements.
Create and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system and data changes prior to deployment.
Document business processes, system workflows, and operational procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.
Provide ongoing production support, including issue resolution, system monitoring, and status updates to stakeholders.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support team objectives and operational excellence.
