About The Role
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the RxSS Business Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting critical data ingestion and secure file transfer processes that power our innovative healthcare platform. You will work closely with engineering, product teams, and external partners to troubleshoot issues, ensure the reliable flow of data, and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. This hands-on, problem-solving position is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding system mechanics, identifying root causes of issues, and collaborating to implement effective solutions.
The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and operational stability. You will have the opportunity to impact healthcare delivery by supporting systems that enable cost-effective medication management and patient care. The role requires a proactive mindset, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or have equivalent relevant experience. A minimum of two years supporting systems, applications, or data processes is required. Candidates should have a foundational understanding of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting purposes. Experience supporting or monitoring data pipelines, integrations, or file-based data exchanges is essential. Strong analytical skills, the ability to troubleshoot system behavior, and clear communication of findings are critical for this role.
Preferred qualifications include exposure to ETL tools or platforms such as Databricks or Informatica, experience with secure file transfer mechanisms like EDI or managed file transfer tools, and familiarity with Python for basic debugging. Experience working within SaaS, healthcare, pharmacy, or financial services environments is advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with workflow management tools like Jira and strong documentation skills will enhance your fit for this position.

Responsibilities
- Support and monitor data ingestion pipelines and integration workflows to ensure continuous operation and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline, file transfer, and application issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage secure inbound and outbound file transfers using SFTP and managed file transfer tools to maintain data security and integrity.
- Perform basic data validation and troubleshooting using SQL queries to verify data accuracy and resolve issues.
- Review pipeline logs and behavior to determine whether issues are related to files, data, or system components.
- Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system and data changes prior to deployment.
- Document business processes, system workflows, and operational procedures to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Provide ongoing production support, monitor system health, and communicate status updates effectively to stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support team objectives and project timelines.
