About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Associate or Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in either St. Louis, MO, or Daytona Beach, FL. This role plays a pivotal part in provisioning and managing complex lab environments both on-premises and in the cloud, including platforms such as Azure and AWS. The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating automated integration testing workflows across multiple program segments, managing deployment mechanisms to physical and virtual systems, and providing actionable insights to development teams to enhance product stability and performance. The role requires a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing orchestration. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, security, and physical lab teams, to ensure seamless deployment, testing, and integration processes. Additionally, security and compliance considerations are integral to this role, supporting adherence to industry standards and frameworks. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields, along with at least three years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or similar roles. Hands-on experience with provisioning and managing lab/test environments on-premises and in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS is essential. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates, along with experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), is required. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, combined with expertise in CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, are necessary. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch is also important. A solid understanding of security best practices within cloud and DevSecOps environments is highly valued. Responsibilities
Design, provision, and maintain scalable lab environments on-premises and cloud platforms, utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Develop and manage automated integration testing workflows that aggregate inputs from multiple program segments, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and timely feedback.
Manage and optimize automated deployment pipelines and mechanisms for both physical and virtual systems, ensuring reliable and repeatable software delivery processes.
