Express is seeking a versatile and experienced Skilled Construction Worker for the Elk Grove/South Sacramento area. The ideal candidate has a strong background in multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall installation/repair. This individual should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team to complete residential, commercial, and renovation projects.Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general construction tasks with a focus on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall work.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and plumbing systems according to building codes and safety standards.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, and other construction materials for framing, cabinets, doors, windows, and trim.
- Prepare, hang, tape, and finish drywall surfaces to a smooth, paint-ready finish.
- Apply paints, stains, and coatings to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in assigned trade areas with efficiency and accuracy.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and site safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience in construction, with skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
