Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and disinfect floors
- Clean carpets, walls, ceilings, windows, and mirrors
- Maintain furnishings, fixtures, and equipment in clean condition
- Remove waste, dust, and debris using proper cleaning solutions
- Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures
- Report accidents or hazards to supervisor immediately
- Turn in lost and found items
- Coordinate with nursing staff when cleaning resident areas
- Follow all HIPAA, infection control, and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety practices
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies properly
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of assigned areas
