Erin’s Hope for Friends is seeking a dedicated and organized Program Assistant to support and grow our mission of creating safe, social, and empowering spaces for teens, young adults, and adults who are neurodivergent. The Program Assistant is a part-time position reporting to the Program Manager or the Executive Director. The Program Assistant is responsible for assisting in the facilitation of e’s club. Supports the Program Manager with appropriate events that help engage members in making and cultivating age-appropriate friendships.
e’s Club
Responsible for the management of the e’s Club event. Tasks include but not limited to opening/closing the facility, managing nightly volunteers, overseeing the members’ safety, greeting and serving as the first point of contact for parents, implementing the evening’s activity, and ensuring that the facility is clean at the end of the night.
Drop-in events:
Assist with drop-in events by giving tours and answering questions about the e’s Club program from potential members.
Volunteer Management:
Assist in the orientation of new volunteers.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and non-profit experience are preferred. Experience with or an interest in the Autism community is also preferred. Have a background that adds value to the member experience. Candidates must have both good customer service, hospitality skills and effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail is necessary. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Salary: 13-15/Hr. This is a part-time position and is flexible with hours (estimated 6 hours per week). Must be available weekend evenings and some weekdays for EHFF activities, outings, and member drop-in events.
